Our Services DataStar Employee Engagement (DSEE) Survey
Our approach will provide you with a cost-effective method for anonymously gathering the information you need to improve employee engagement and productivity.  It will help you to quickly identify issues in need of improvement and require a minimum of your time and the time of your staff to implement.  Base Package: DataStar is offering the DSEE, a standard employee satisfaction/engagement survey, using time-tested questions and normative data developed by Discovery Surveys. Specific program features of the base package include the following services and deliverables: Standard online survey of 50 engagement/satisfaction items, 4 standard demographic questions (tenure, department, manager/non-manager/senior team, full-time/part-time), and 1 open-ended question. Benchmarking Data Report (PDF delivery) including tabulation of survey questions by each demographic item, with comparison of results to a normative database compiled from more than 90 employee surveys conducted among more than 60,000 employees.  View a sample report here. Survey will be customized by DataStar to include your organization's name and logo. Level 1 Options: While the base survey package will provide you with a highly cost-effective solution to understanding your employees’ level of engagement, the DSEE survey program can be adapted to meet a wide variety of needs. Additional survey items or demographic questions Translation and administration of the survey in additional languages Creation of unique survey links to individual employees, which will allow tieback of results to organizational HRIS or other employee database (procedures will be in place to maintain employees’ confidentiality) Management of survey communication to employees Additional Data Reports by departments, locations, etc. Conduct the survey via paper among all or a subset of employees. Level 2 Options: The added value of personal involvement and assistance from Dr. Katcher can help ensure that you reap the greatest benefit from the results.  Consultation with Dr. Katcher on creating new survey items or customization of survey items to meet your organization’s specific informational needs. Communication assistance by Dr. Katcher (including draft memos and copy for your in-house newsletter or Intranet) to help you properly position the survey to employees and maximize the response rate. Preparation of a detailed narrative Executive Summary Report that will summarize the survey results and provide recommendations by Dr. Katcher. Oral presentation of the survey results and recommendations by Dr. Katcher to your senior management team.  This session also includes planning of the next steps for communicating the results to employees and acting on the results. Preparation of special Employee Results Report to employees by Dr. Katcher. Action Planning Training by Dr. Katcher to teach your managers how to interpret their results, conduct survey feedback and action planning meetings with their employees, and involve employees in developing specific action plans to address areas in need of improvement.
