We especially recognize and support the efforts of volunteers - our employees and their families, our clients and business associates. We applaud the efforts of those who give of themselves to help others, and further support this value by allowing employees paid time off of up to three days per year to participate in community service endeavors.
Recent DataStar volunteering efforts include:
A group of our employees regularly participates in Red Cross blood drives. As a team, we have donated 40 pints since January 1, 2005!
To date, two employees have volunteered with their families at Camp Sunshine, a retreat in Casco, ME for children with life threatening illnesses. Other employees hope to participate in the near future.
Another DataStar team has spent early mornings and evenings answering phones during pledge drives at Boston public radio station WBUR.
